Born in 1981 and 1978, Chiara Zanella and Marco Thiella are Berlin based Italian artists. Graduated in Painting at Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, they work on collaborative projects since 2002. They primarly work with site specific installations, crossing visual arts, design, multimedia and sound. The purpose is often to engage the urban environment and the ordinary places with their projects, trying to get different connections between the work itself, the viewer and the setting as well. They participated in exhibitions and projects with international artists, critics and curators as Chiara Bertola (Fondazione Querini Stampalia, Venice - Hangar Bicocca, Milan), Renzo di Renzo (Fabrica - Fondazione Buziol, Venice), Henry Meyric Hughes (AICA - International Association of Art Critics). Recently they have realized a large site specific installation ("In Bloom") curated by Renzo di Renzo - Fondazione Claudio Buziol, Venice, that was acquired by Replay Fashion Box Industries.
